4 Reasons Why We Travel with Our Kids
Traveling has always been our favorite bonding as a family. Both me and my husband's family loves to travel (local), So when we got back together in 2015 and already have the means to do it, we packed our bags and just went anywhere we could think of.
Traveling with a baby is never a walk in a park, so why are we doing this?
Here are some of the reasons why we travel with our kids and why you should too.
1. Traveling is good for our Mental and Physical Health. Traveling reduces stress, improves our moods, and it generally enhance our physical strengths and makes us more mentally agile as we both use our minds and bodies to figure out how to navigate a new town or city.
2. Traveling improves our communication skills. When we travel to a different country, we interact with different kinds of people and some of them doesn't speak a language that we know. We put ourselves in a situation where we need to come up with a creative way to communicate. It also improves our communication with our family, we get better at communicating if we know when a place can be reached by walking or we need to catch a train or bus to get there. 😆
3. Traveling can expand our horizon. When we travel we immerse ourselves to different cultures and it can make us see things in a different perspective and learn new things about the world we share with others.
4. Traveling helps us create wonderful and unforgettable memories. Our kids may not remember where we traveled, but we can. It is not how much they will and can remember but how much it made them feel. When we look back to these memories, we will remember how much we learned about the world and with each other.
If you are having second thoughts about traveling with your kids, think of the things that they can learn and see at such a young age. They will not remember most of it, but you can and you can tell those stories to them when they grow up. You will expose them to different cultures, immerse them to a different world, and it will build their confidence and independence.
Go on and see the world through the eyes of your kids. 💕
Love,
Karla
